About the equipment
Comet insulated platforms are truck-mounted lifts for work near or on live power lines, with insulated boom sections and a fiberglass basket on insulators.
Models from 14 to 24 m cover low-voltage networks, and ANSI-certified models are made for higher-voltage line work. They share Comet’s four outriggers, continuous rotation and low-pressure hydraulics, and suit utility maintenance, line installation and street lighting.
