Scissor lifts stay safe to use only through regular maintenance. Workers should read the manufacturer’s instructions to learn how to:
- Carry out pre-use inspections and condition checks
- Perform maintenance on the equipment
- Make sure safety systems are never bypassed
- Make sure guardrails are in good condition
